Spinal Decompression

New Hope for Back Pain Sufferers!

A treatment with no documented side effects!

Non-surgical spinal decompression may be the last back pain treatment you will ever need.  No popping pills, struggling through exercises programs or risky surgery… because with this amazing new technology- for most people- they are a thing of the past.  You’re about to discover the most powerful state-of-the-art technology available for: Back pain, sciatica, herniated and/or bulging discs (single or multiple), degenerative disc disease, a relapse or failure following surgery or facet syndromes.

Imagine how it would feel to no longer have back or neck pain.

Over 10 years ago NASA began to notice an unexpected result of space travel - Astronauts that left with pack pain would come back without it.  What they found was that during the anti-gravity state decompressive forces on the spinal discs relieved back pain.  How? When gravity is removed, all the pressure is taken off the spine and discs and it seems as though a negative pressure is created.  It is believed, that this negative pressure actually sucks the herniated material back into the disc and allows it to heal resulting in the reduction and possible elimination of pain.

 Medical Breakthrough

This space age technology is now available to the general public via licensed and trained physicians.  It is called Spinal Decompression and has been clinically proven with an 86% success rate with the pain and symptoms associated with herniated and/or bulging discs… even after failed surgery.

 What Are Treatments Like?

You will be fitted with specialized decompression harnesses, and then you will be placed on a table in a relaxed position.

The advanced computer system is programmed with the proper amount of distraction and placed at the proper angle allowing us to target specific discs… that are causing your pain and symptoms.    The distraction force is gently increased to avoid muscle guarding and spasm.  In addition, a specialized split table design decreases friction and allows separation of the spinal bones, minimizing the effect of gravity.  Basically, you lay comfortably while an amazing decompression computer simulates an anti-gravity effect on your back or neck that helps herniated material return to its normal position and stop the pain.  Patients describe the treatment as a gentle, painless, intermittent pulling of the back.  Many patients actually fall asleep during treatment!

How Long Are Treatments And How Many Do You Need?

Patients typically undergo 15 to 20 treatment sessions.  Each treatment lasts between 25-30 minutes.  This, of course, depends on your individual case and is determined by a thorough evaluation.  Following each session, a cold pack, instrument adjustment and/or electric muscle stimulation may be applied to help pain relief and speed the healing process.  It is important to note that many patients get substantial, immediate relief after, just a few treatments.

The really good news is… this is not something you have to continue to do for the rest of your life!  So it’s not a big commitment.

 OUR SPECIAL OFFER…

Just call my office at 845-623-0026 and mention that you want a “FREE neck or back pain/decompression qualification evaluation.”  Normally $150 but it is now absolutely free for a limited time with no strings attached.  There is nothing to pay for and you will NOT be pressured to become a patient.

Here’s what you will receive:

·  An extensive personal consultation to discuss your concerns and get information about back/neck pain and spinal decompression.

·  A review of previously taken MRI tests and/or X-Ray reports/films, and a thorough spinal examination.

·  We will let you know your options and if Spinal decompression is appropriate for you.

 Testimonials

“I must admit I was a little skeptical at first but this was my last option before surgery. After trying physical therapy, acupuncture, spinal injections and medication. I needed to do something. Being a single mother of 4, surgery at this time was not an option considering the low success rate and lengthy recovery time. After starting decompression treatment and within 2 weeks was feeling significantly better. It's great to have my life back.”

                                                 L. Villela.

“I had low back pain for a long time, so my doctor suggested getting an MRI.  The results indicated herniated lower discs. A friend told me about the decompression treatment and I did it. I felt stiff after treatment but as weeks went on felt much better.”

The demand for this space-age technology has been incredible.  I suggest you call our office at once because a delay could lead to you being place on a waiting list while others are receiving their care.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How does Spinal Decompression separate each vertebra and allow for decompression at a specific level?

Decompression is achieved by using a specific combination of patient positioning and varying the degree and intensity of force.  The key to producing this decompression is the gentle pull that is created by a computer generated force.  When distractive forces are generated by the computer, the typical spasm in the back muscles caused by normal traction is avoided.  Traction triggers the body’s normal response to stretching by creating painful muscle spasms that worsen the pain in the affected area.  Avoiding this response with Spinal Decompression allow decompression to occur at the targeted area.

Is there any risk to the patient during treatment?

No, Spinal decompression is totally sage and comfortable for all subjects.  The system has emergency stop switches for both the patient and the operator.  These switches are a requirement of the FDA, and terminate the treatment immediately, avoiding any injuries.

Are the treatment results permanent?

Typically, additional treatments are not required after the completion of the treatment protocol.  However, as with any treatment, there are always severe cases that involve particular job/lifestyle activities that may require re-evaluations.

How does Decompression treatment differ from ordinary spinal traction?

Traction is helpful at treating some of the conditions resulting from herniations or degeneration; however, traction cannot address the source of the problem.  Spinal Decompression creates a negative pressure or a vacuum inside the disc.  This effect causes the disc to pull in the herniation.  The increase in negative pressure also causes the flow of blood and nutrients back into the disc allowing the body’s natural self repair response to heal the injury and re-hydrate the disc.  Traction and inversion tables, at best, can lower the pressure inside the disc from +90 to a +30mmHg.  Spinal Decompression is clinically proven to reduce the pressure inside the disc to between -150 to -200mmHg.

What is the length of treatment?

Patients remain on the system for 25-30 minutes. To get optimum results, the patient should do the spinal decompression treatments three times per week for approximately 6-8 weeks, however, ultimate treatment plan wil be determined by doctor Johnson at the time of the consultation.

Can Spinal Decompression be used for patients that have had spinal surgery?

In most cases, Spinal Decompression treatment is not contraindicated for patients that have had spinal surgery.  In fact, many patients have found success with Spinal Decompression after a failed back surgery.
